Can you hear the difference?
Professional audio engineering can do wonders to raw tracks.
Mixing is about getting the sound the way you imagined and highlighting the musicality and artistic expression you put into the audio material. We get the levels of the individual tracks just right. We also utilize effects to make the instruments, vocals and other sonic elements sit perfectly from front to back and from left to right, with as much or as little overlap between them as needed.
Mastering is the final tweak of the overall sound. We will round extensive low frequencies to just the right amount and add a touch of sparkle on top if it’s not quite there yet. We will also make your music/audio as loud as you need, without losing important dynamics.
Welcome to Tinderwet Studios, your professional mixing and mastering audio services online! We also offer stem mastering, album sequencing and CD authoring, at affordable rates. Why would you choose to go with such an audio engineering service? Because in the internet-age, people want it quick, at professional quality. So don’t be ashamed; that’s what online services are for. We put a lot of love in our mixes and masters, while paying attention to detail. High sonic fidelity is our primary goal. Nonetheless, feel free to query us with your suggestions. Your intentions are important to us! Be it any kind of audio material, we will preserve its nature, regardless of genre. That doesn’t only mean currently popular genres like metal, EDM or hip hop and rap.

Online Mixing for the best sound quality
“Mixing is like going for a walk just before dawn. Without a torch. Just you and the distance. The distance you need to conquer. You start in the darkest of darkness. You walk your path carefully. At some point you begin to see some faint light. Light of hope. The sky gets brighter and brighter. Suddenly, the Sun comes into sight. Sending its million rays to caress you. Irresistibly. And now you are there, smiling. Standing in the sparkling sunlight.”
We treat your music with passion. Tinderwet Studios‘ main goal during mixing is to make the songs as clear and pleasant sounding as possible. The professional approach we have towards our online services is aimed at achieving a fine balance between all musical elements. We highlight the favorable features and gracefully hide the less favorable ones when needed.
“If it sounds good, it is good.”
We will do our best to make your music sound good. As good as possible. Please bear in mind that the final results highly depend on the quality of your recordings. Also, on the quality of the actual musical performance. Nevertheless we will still bring out the best in your audio material. All that while respecting its very nature.

Professional Mastering with high fidelity in mind
“Mastering is like setup for a racecar. You may have some mighty and powerful machine in your possession capable of winning races gloriously. But without a proper setup, you’ll have no chance to run it to its full potential.”
We at Tinderwet Studios concentrate on giving your music that final, professional touch. We balance the frequencies from low to high, making sure that the bass is punchy and powerful, the mid-range is clear and intelligible, and the treble is brilliant and expensive sounding without being harsh.
Do you need your songs to have that “commercial” loudness? We are more than capable to create extreme amounts of compression to get high levels of perceived volume. But by default, we prefer to adjust your music carefully, so it remains dynamic and pleasant to listen to, without fatiguing the listener.
Stereo Mastering - What we deliver |
---|
Red Book standard 16 bit stereo WAV or AIFF files at 44.1kHz sample rate (we will apply dither when required) |
High quality mp3 file of the mastered song |
Mixing advices, suggestions upon request |
Stereo Mastering - What we require (unless we also mixed your music of course) |
---|
Your submitted mixes should be at least 16 bit (24 bit is highly preferred) WAV or AIFF files at a minimum sample rate of 44.1 kHz. You should definitely keep the bit depth and sample rate you were mixing at (f.ex. 24 bit 48 kHz) |
Please make sure that your master bus doesn't have any effects/plug-ins on it, including compressors and limiters/maximizers (unless you or someone else mixed it professionally into a compressor) |
Please make sure that your mix peaks at about -6dB or even below, but definitely NOT higher than -3dB on the master bus, so there's no digital clipping of the signal present, and we have enough headroom to work with |
Please collect your mix files into a folder, and put the folder into a ZIP or RAR file |
Use WeTransfer or Dropbox to upload/send the files |
Stem Mastering
When you mix down to separate stereo stems (i.e. smaller subgroups of instruments or important tracks, f.ex. drums, bass, guitars, keyboards, lead vocal, bacground vocals, etc.), we can do a so called stem mastering. It means we have greater control over the mastering process, because we are able to adjust the levels of the stems individually to create a finely balanced master track.

Album Sequencing & CD Authoring
When you have a group of songs ready to be burned onto a master CD, we are able to put the songs in order, set the spacing, the fades and pauses between them when needed. We can also set the level balance between songs, so it will sound like a cohesive whole as an album. We are able to enter CD text, UPC/EAN codes and ISRC information if you make them available for us. The final format will be a DDP 2.0 CD image, that any CD replication plant will be able to use to burn Red Book standard audio CDs from. You will also be able to burn your own CDs from it on your home computer.
