Koaler can’t be bothered by quick, meaningless changes. He keeps his relaxed focus on things that truly interest him. Which usually means munching away on eucaliptus leaves or expressing genuine surprise over big, philosophical questions. Other than the drum track, this catchywave song was made entirely with guitars and bass guitar. Some guitars were fretted, others were played with a slide, and there were ones that received extraterrestrial audio effects. Or something like that. If you hear japanese taiko drums and a closing tam-tam splash in the middle eight section, you can give a cookie to your ears. Let ’em battle for it! Can you find Koaler in the picture? 🐨

People often succumb to negative thinking and say we’re constantly surrounded by lies. What they don’t usually realize is that truth is already there, always, containing everything. So truth always wins, unquestionably. Most of the elements that matter are layered in this tune. The synths of the main melody lines are Oberheim & Jupiter-8, the bass is both a DX7 & Jupiter-8. Even the drums are Simmons & Linndrum in the verses, and Simmons & gunshot (snare) + earthquake/thunderstrike (kick) in the choruses.
